Here you will find descriptions of every other creative venture into which I embark quite blindly and which doesn't happen to fit into any of the other categories. At the moment I can recall no such venture to mind, but you may certainly rest assured that when it happens, you will be among the first to know.

Coke
Bottle Windchimes. This didn't turn out anything like I thought
it would and will likely give birth to several future versions. Due to
the unavailability of the shop and various tools, I was unable to drill
and dowel the top branches together. As ridiculous as it is, scissors
are also strangely absent from the premises, meaning all string elements
are frayed and flying. Not my favorite for a first try, but at least it
is only that. I look forward to correcting it. On the bright side, the
sound produced by the bottle caps and keys on the glass are quite pleasant.

Wire and Keys Dreamcatcher. I have no complaints on this, really, unless it is that I wish the wire had remained straight where it stretches across instead of becoming wavy. I think I will make another with the 20 guage for the frame and a smaller for the actual net. Otherwise, this one made me happy. |
| Letterboxing Stamps. I have been promising Val and Melissa to make these darn things for weeks, but only after several excursions of the conference grounds and both local hardware stores was I | ![]() |
| able to come up with a plausible method. In the end I used wooden knobs, corks, and my pocketknife. This is a far cry from the branch cross-section carving I had imagined, but will work for the time being. As it turns out, the wood naturally available here is less than desirable when it comes to carving. | |
