Plan A: Cyrano De Bergerac Jeffrey, David and I have an evil plot to save the Gaslight, hopefully sometime within the next year. We will accomplish this daring feat via a stunning, epic stage production of Cyrano De Bergerac, complete with cannon fire, sword fights in the aisles, and prosthetic noses of astounding proportions. Can it be done, you ask? Well, time shall tell... |

Plan B: The Hunchback of Notre Dame My favorite book and accordingly, my favorite Disney movie of all time. My grand plan is to someday direct this particular |

production. I won't be picky about the stage; as it is, I'm not sure that even the Disney version would pass the scrutiny of the Gaslight Board of Directors. Nonethless, I am convinced that this would be the hill to die on. Watch out, world-- it will happen someday!

My History in Theater
![]() |
My first theater experience was as Technical Director for a PCA production that doesn't really bear mentioning. The second was The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood, for which I was Stage Manager. |
Ah, Harvey. I had my first directorial experience at the age of 17. Such a wonderful, ridiculous time. The world's best cast and crew coupled with one of the most amazing, nostalgic locations on the planet. I learned a lot during this time, including the most important bit of fact concerning the Gaslight Theater: The bigger the cast, the bigger the house.

My first acting expereince, strangely enough, came after directing. I played Aslan in the PCA production of the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Ah, stage makeup, I know thee well... |
This
production was also notable for me because of all the people who I came
to know during it, including my wonderful boyfriend. (Not that I'm the
sentimental type, of course.) Also, I can now cite Aslan as the most
boring personality for the stage of all time.

Finally, the Importance of Being Earnest came along. This time I was the assistant director and all thing miscellaneous. Most of the cast from Harvey was back for a rerun. Very little that was notable occured during this performance, unless it was convincing me completely that I would direct again, though probably not anytime soon.
