Eventually, you
can come here to find updates on all of my writing endeavours-- the
Asgard Trinity, blogging, and even the newspaper. For now, updates
on the most recent ones will have to suffice.

Creed
As many of
you know, I have started writing a new novel over the summer.
As of today, the 20th of June, I am nearly done with the second
chapter. This is pitifully little progress, I know, but hammering
out the storyline itself (which I rarely take the time to do)
was astonishingly time consuming in itself.

I do not intend to release
the details of the plot before I am finished with the book. I
doubt this will honestly disappoint many of you or that you will
even care in the slightest, but I thought I would let you know.
I feel it would be counter-productive and considering the effort
I intend to put into this piece in particular, might impede my
progress. I can only tell you that it is (surprise surprise) a
fantasy novel in the sense that it takes place in fictional locations,
but that is the extent to which it fits that genre. In contrast
to my last novel, there will be little to no appearance of strange
races, unusual creatures of questionable origin, or other unexplained
magical phenomena.
I can also
tell you that this will be a single novel, with no chance of sequel
or prequel that I can forsee. One, singular, uno. This should
make you sigh in relief; you will not be held in suspense by the
time the story ends.
Beyond that,
the image to the upper left is the most you are getting . If all
goes well, I will be able to place the completed work into your
hands at the end of the summer and the wait (oh, that agonizing
suspense) will be over. |

The
Asgard Trinity: Book Two
The Fields of Avarice
If
you are within the small circle of my friends and relatives
who have read my first novel, The Reaper's Mark, you may also
have reached the small bit of text at the end that announced
the work-in-progress to come, The Fields of Avarice. Fear not,
my faithful fans; I do intend to abandon this work.

At
the moment, it is simply on hold. This is neither because I have
lost interest for an indeterminate amount of time or because I
do not intend to continue, but rather because I do not feel that
the time is right for me to continue writing this particular piece.
I have sat down on several occasions within the last two years
with the intention of gaining momentum within the first few chapters
(oh so close to completion, as they are) but was foiled. For this
reason I have turned my attention for the time to Creed, which
will occupy the summer and help me to sort out the strange block
occuring in my work on the Asgard Trinity. I would like to thank
you all for your patience and your support with the first book
and reassure you that although it may take time, you will see
Book Two eventually.
